also warn you that in my callow youth when I played partners skittles on the pool table, a game requiring a bit of touch, my partners called me old cement elbows.
So, how did it work? In a word: "fine". When I first started using it, I noticed an apparent very slight delay in cursor movement after the mouse started moving. I'm talking very, very slight. I assumed that if the delay were indeed real, I would soon get used to it. This in fact happened, and I can now no longer get that feel back even when I try. So, there is no apparent lack of responsiveness. The teflon feet do seem to lend a smoothness to mouse movement. As noted, I don't really have a normal mouse in good enough shape to compare it!! It is nice not having to worry about the mouse tail getting tangled, or in the way of my external floppy I keep

on the right. I had no difficulty at all in positioning the cursor for text processing. I do not do art or graphics work. I did go into a small magnification MacPaint II Fat Bit mode and try some pencil "bit clicking". I certainly didn't have any more difficulty at hitting the pixel aimed at than usual (cement elbows notwithstanding).
Keeping the mouse within range of the finder (distance and angle) was only a rare problem. I only tested it from a maximum of about 3 feet (I don't have a larger desk!), but it worked fine from there. I occasionally got the mouse pointed at too wide an angle for the receiver to get the signal from the mouse. This occurred a couple times
